How to Charter a Bus of A.P.S.R.T.C. Bus Booking

Andhra pradesh State road transport Corporation will supply buses to the private parties on hire basis for the purpose of pilgrimage, marriages, leisure travel, meetings, excursions etc.
The parties who desire to hire a bus may place printed requisition with the Depot Manager with details like from, to places, timings, date etc. On receipt of requisition, the Depot Manager will calculate the estimated amount for the distance as per the trips indicated plus a deposit of 15% extra on estimated hire charges and collect the same from the party hiring the bus in advance. After completion of special hire contract, the balance amount refundable will be paid to the hirer within three days.

APSRTC HIRED BUS on CASUAL CONTRACT BASIS :

Various types of buses i.e., Super Luxury, Deluxe, Express, Palle Velugu and City will be made available to the public on hire basis. Hire charges will be calculated on hire basis or distance basis whichever is higher. The hours will be converted into KMs for calculation of special hire amount. The hourly chargeable KMs irrespective of day and night and peak and slack seasons the uniform KMs of 20 per hour. The minimum chargeable distance is 330 KMs during all seasons. The amount will be collected in advance.

APSRTC HIRED BUS on INTER - STATE CASUAL CONTRACT :

The buses will be made available to the passengers on casual contract basis covering Inter-State routes also. The fare & terms and conditions are same as above. But the permit fee and cess if any etc., levied by other states shall have to be borne by the contracting parties, besides regular hire charges.
CHARTERED CONTRACT SERVICES :
APSRTC is arranging buses on regular chartered contract basis to industries/institutions/public sector undertakings, private factories etc. Minimum chargeable Kms of 80 uniformly to all companies.

Terms & Conditions for APSRTC Hired Bus:

• APSRTC does not take responsibility for any delay/damages caused by breakdowns, accidents, mechanical failures etc., when a bus is given on hire.
• A reservation fee of Rs.500/- shall be collected in advance together with the estimated charges from the hiring party.
• No over load shall be allowed on the bus given for hire. In case of any over loading, it shall be charged with ticket fare for each of the passenger based upon the type of the service..
• If any hire contract is not taken by the hiring party, the reservation fee of Rs 500/- shall be forfeited in addition to the admissible cost involved.
• The additional expenses like local tax or taxes levied by the other states shall be borne by the hirer.
• The permit fee shall be borne by the hiring party.
• The hiring party shall be responsible in guiding the driver on the route.
• The hiring party should claim the amount refundable within 3 months from the date of contract.
• The hiring party shall not in turn hire out the bus to others.
• The kilometers operated by the hire buses will be taken into account from the Depot and back to the Depot .
• A fraction of an hour shall be treated as one full hour for the purpose of calculation of time/charges.
• A concession of 10% in total hire charges be allowed for the educational tours of the students studying in Govt., Govt. recognized institutions.
• The timings shall be reckoned from the time of the vehicle goes out of the Depot till it reaches back to the Depot
