APSRTC operates many buses under its umbrella and has one of the largest fleet of buses. APSRTC Buses confirms to all safety standards and maintains the quality for each bus.

The Andhra pradesh state road transport Corporation has ear marked seats in buses for ladies, physically challenged, MLAs/MPs, Senior Citizens, Presidents of Mandal Parishads & ZPTC members etc. The APSRTC bus images of each type of bus are shown here. Also seats are reserved for certain classes of people especially women for their convenience.

• MLAs / MPs:4 seats in all types of buses, 2 berths in sleeper coaches.

Ladies:40% seating accommodation i.e. reserved for exclusive use by ladies in all city, Pallevelugu & Express services
a. City:40 % seats in the front rows behind the driver's cabin.
b. Pallevelugu:1st to 7th row seats behind the driver's cabin (21 seats).
c. Express:1st to 7th row seats behind the driver's cabin (21 seats).
d. Deluxe:1st to 2nd row seats behind the driver's cabin (4 seats).
e. Super Luxury:1 st to 2nd row seats behind the driver's cabin (4 seats).

• Physically challenged:

a.One seat at the left side row of the front entrance door in case of city services.
b.One seat on the left side first row is reserved for the physically challenged persons.

APSRTC VENNELA AC SLEEPER BUS

A Sleeper bus is a type of specially adapted coach, designed internally to carry around 24 passengers by providing two tier berths. This type of buses generally operates between cities which are to 10 hours apart by road. The journeys usually scheduled to start late in the evening so that most of the travel is at night. This services is a good alternative to trains, as berths in trains get booked well in advance. It is decided to introduce AC Sleeper coaches under the brand name "VENNELA" for operation on various intra-state and inter state routes.

THE Vennella Bus SALIENT FEATURES

• Provided with air suspension system for better comfort.
• Provided with 24 two tier berths with sufficient width.
• provided with individual LCD TV with head phone facility for each berth.
• Provision of Value added Services:
• 1 Liter Mineral Water Bottle of reputed brands viz., AQUAFINA, BISLERY, KINLEY.
• Attendant's assistance to the passengers in loading and unloading their luggage.
• Audio & Video.
• Bed roll consisting of the following items :
• One Woolen Blanket.
• Two White single Bed sheets.
• One U Foam pillow with White pillow cover.

APSRTC GARUDA PLUS (Multi Axle A.C)

To provide smooth comfortable riding and faster journey to the passengers of interstate and Intra-state, APSRTC planned to introduce Multi Axle A/C buses of Mercedes Benz and Volvo make under brand name of "'GARUDA PLUS". Initially 41 buses (20 Mercedes Benz & 21 Volvo) are planned which meet BS-III emission norm.

Garuda Bus SALIENT FEATURES

• Overall length of the coach is 13.7 mt
• Ergonomically designed reclining sears (49 Nos) with calf supported (44 seats) with magazine pouch, bottle holder and coat hanger.
• Elegant body profile and attractive color scheme with graphics.
• individual reading lamps and adjustable A/C louvers.
• LED destination board and standard destination with tube light illumination at front.
• 26''LCD TV in front and 17' TFT in middle for better visibility to all passengers.
• Cell phone chargers.
• Air suspension with 8 bellows for jerk free riding comfort.

APSRTC INDRA A / C BUSES

To provide a comfortable and low fare A C buses to the passengers, APSRTC planned to introduce A/C buses called "Indra" with a fare between Super Luxury and Garuda. Initially 100 buses are planned on 12 mtr Ashok Leyland chassis which meet BS-III emission norm.
